![]() Monk has a passive which gives +15 resistance to everything when you have discipline buff. Mercenary tree has a %10 movement speed bonus as breakthrough and %50 speed bonus for heavy armors speed reduction. Tank: Game doesn't have much active skills for tanking so your best bet is to stack defense passives and movement speed for kiting. Best thing about this is that none of the skills mentioned requires breakthrough points. This is the best burst dmg i could find but requires a bit build up. This will knock most enemies down so locate behind them and attack with backstab. So a good combo is to shoot once with pistol and switch to dagger and attack with OS. There is a pistol in game which applies confusion and a pistol skill which makes bullets inflict pain. Backstab which deals 3x DMG when applied from back and Opportunistic Strike(OS) which does 2x for pain and 2x for confusion debuffs(4x Total). Rogue: For rogue build u can go dagger or pistol for your off hand. ![]() If you're gonna be Archer horror bow + precise shot gives both extreme bleeding and extreme poison which is two of the best dots in game.nPrecise shot requires Archer breakthrough. This makes dots a viable and dependable source of damage. I personally took 2 points.Īrcher: As you probably realized that each fight take a while as you kite around and search for openings. So at mountain it's usually enough to take 1 or 2 points of Mana which gives 20 or 40 Mana. Gearing up for full Mana reduction items to nearly not spend Mana.įor full mage your friend will want to go rune magic which is the best type of magic in game and it's breakthrough gives 40 Mana. Taking leyline connection breakthrough which gives 1 Mana point every 3 seconds which acts as a natural Mana Regen. Mages in this game are very viable but there is no default Mana Regen. So when you gonna spend one think carefully. İtems can be switched breakthroughs are not. I only played solo but can give some pointers:īuilds are mostly breakthrough points and items. Even single player games need good online communities these days, and this is one the best I've encountered in a while. Thank you to everyone who replied and for those who are continuing the conversation below. You guys have given me all the information I requested and then some, and now I feel like I'm starting to piece together the logic behind this game. This being a smaller community for a relatively niche game, I expected little to no response, or possibly even some elitist hostility. Your pointers and opinions are appreciated!ĮDIT: I just wanted to say that you guys are awesome. ![]() Still trying to wrap my head around the mechanics of this game, but it's been a lot of fun so far. ![]() Is this viable, or would it be too squishy? I'd also consider a bow build which would mean we'd both focus on ranged dps. There doesn't seem to be any kind of taunts or anything, so I'm wondering if there is any advantage to me beefing up with sword and shield, or if I should just go 2H berserker mode. This usually makes me the tank or the rogue/ archer. My partner always plays a mage in RPGs, when able. Since this is really the first concrete choice we've had to make in regards to how we want to play there characters, I figured it's a good time to ask what are some good "build" combinations for co-op? We've been enjoying the game so far, got our Blood Price payment taken care of, and then we wandered to the mountain to get some mana. Saw that it had local co-op and that was enough for me and my partner. Hey guys, just bought Outward the other day kinda on a whim. ![]()
